I do love storyboarding, but when I think of a movie, I always think in color. It's more easier for me to visualize scenes of color than regular pencil sketches. Once I flushed out my rough thumbnails, I decided to skip ahead to the color script. I wanted lots of blues, golds, purples, pinks, and yellows. Though some of the scenes may not be there in the final, the colors I do intend to keep in some form or another. The color scripts were the most fun I had during pre-production. It was a good way for me to learn how color can truly influence a story.
