Now that I'm semi satisfied with Maya, I'm moving on to Kai. I learned a lot during the modeling phase of Maya. Like how I wish I would've been more detailed in her initial sketches of what her nose would look like, rounded, curved, big, small; it was too vague. I also wished that I outlined where her ear and jawline would be. Her lips were the BIGGEST challenge. I want Kai's to not really have a defined shape, but more of a line which I notice most male 3d characters have anyways. Although Maya looks nice as an illustration, it wasn't helpful when I was trying to figure out lines on her face. I went back on Kai and fixed his front and made sure to add lines where I thought was necessary. When I get to hair, I might have to simplify his messiness and make it more of a defined shape. But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. 


2 things crossed off my to-do list! Now sculpting.
